Walter J. Rok, M.D.
Dr. Rok is a native of RI. He is a graduate of Boston College and New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the Boston Floating Hospital - Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.
He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Rok joined Pediatric Associates of Fall River in 1983 and is currently the president of the practice.
He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, American Medical Association and the Fall River Medical Society of which he was a past president. Dr. Rok was Chief of Neonatology at Charlton Memorial Hospital for 20 years and is now Chief of Pediatrics at St. Anne's Hospital, medical director of the MA-RIPA and a CPE- Certified Physician Executive.
In 2003 Dr. Rok received the Tufts Drisoll Pediatric Teaching Award. Dr. Rok is the District 4 Representative to the Massachusetts Chapter of the AAP, a Bristol South Delegate of the Massachusetts Medical Society and a member of the American College of Physician Executives- ACPE. In 2009, Dr. Rok was recognized by the Bristol South District of Massachusetts as Community Clinician of the Year.
Dr. Rok and his family reside nearby in the East Bay area. His wife Pat is a School Nurse in a local high school. He enjoys sailing, skiing,and golf.
